Hi #statistics friends
The National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) is a source of socio-economic data where Susenas data is used for planning and evaluating national development programs, Planning and Evaluation of Sectoral Development Programs (Ministries/Institutions) and Providing SDG's Indicators.
The National Socio-Economic Survey enumeration will start from 19 February 2024 to 9 March 2024. Susenas recording uses two types of questionnaires, namely VSEN24.K and VSEN24.KP. The VSEN24.K questionnaire produces several indicators, such as demographic data, education, savings ownership, employment, use of communication tools, health complaints, family planning, housing and social protection. Meanwhile, the VSEN24.KP questionnaire provides information about household expenditure and consumption, as well as income, receipts and non-consumption expenditure.
This Susenas activity aims to find out and obtain household economic statistical data in the form of values and patterns of income, consumption expenditure, non-consumption expenditure, investment and household financial transactions. Susenas is Indonesia's main support in terms of strategic data needs for sustainable development or Sustainable Development Goals (TBP/SDGs). Susenas data and indicators have been widely used in planning, monitoring and evaluating government development programs, both central and regional. These indicators include the poverty rate, human development index and gini ratio.
