The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Aceh Jaya Regency held a briefing for officers on the 2026 Wholesale Price Survey (SHPB) on Friday, February 13, 2026. This online event was attended by field officers and committee members involved in the survey.
The briefing aimed to improve officers' understanding and competence in implementing the SHPB appropriately, accurately, and in accordance with established methodology. The SHPB is a strategic survey that plays a crucial role in monitoring price developments at the wholesale level as an economic indicator.
The briefing was officially opened by the Head of BPS Aceh Jaya Regency, Khairul Andri Lubis, SST, M.Si. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of accuracy, consistency, and discipline among officers in the data collection process. This is because SHPB results serve as a basis for compiling various economic indicators and policy analysis.
The briefing was delivered by Inda (Fadhila Ramadhani Gita Putri), who explained the concept and definition of SHPB, the questionnaire procedures, and the data reporting mechanism. In addition, participants were also equipped with an understanding of survey officer ethics and effective communication techniques with respondents in the field.
Throughout the event, participants enthusiastically attended the briefing and actively participated in the discussion sessions. Participants posed various questions, accompanied by questionnaire simulations to ensure a thorough understanding of the survey process and technicalities.
