To celebrate the holy month of Ramadan 1447 H and strengthen brotherhood in the workplace, the Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) of Aceh Jaya Regency is holding a series of activities titled KURMA (Ukhuwah Ramadhan). This program runs throughout Ramadan and is attended by all BPS employees in Aceh Jaya Regency.
The KURMA program serves as a means to enhance spiritual values, strengthen togetherness, and foster social awareness in the workplace. These activities are expected to create a harmonious work environment and strengthen relationships between employees during Ramadan.
Various activities are carried out within the KURMA program, including One Day One Juz (ODOJ), a collaborative Quran reading activity with a target of one juz per day by employees. Additionally, there is the One Day One Ayat (ODOA) activity, which encourages employees to read and understand one verse of the Quran daily as a form of spiritual reflection during Ramadan.
Another activity is SAHUR (Safari Dhuhur), which is carried out through communal worship during the Dhuhur prayer. In addition, SELASIH (Selasa Siraman Hikmah) was also held, with the agenda of delivering religious sermons or spiritual sermons to broaden employees' religious knowledge.
To foster a spirit of sharing, BPS Aceh Jaya implemented the CERAH (Cinta Sedekah Ramadhan) program, which involved collecting donations from employees and distributing them to those in need. Furthermore, KITA (Kamis Berbagi Takjil) was also implemented as a form of togetherness among employees through the sharing of takjil (snacks) within the office environment.
Social care for the community was also demonstrated through the Takjil on the Road activity, which involved distributing takjil to the community in front of the BPS Aceh Jaya Regency Office on March 12, 2026, just before breaking the fast.
On the same day, BPS Aceh Jaya also held a Joint Iftar event attended by all employees and the BPS Aceh Jaya Regency family. This activity served as a momentum to strengthen relationships and foster a sense of togetherness within the workplace.
In addition, BPS Aceh Jaya also held a Pension Benefit program as a form of attention and appreciation for employees who have reached retirement.
Through this series of KURMA (Ukhuwah Ramadhan) activities, it is hoped that the values of togetherness, social awareness, and spiritual spirit will continue to grow within BPS Aceh Jaya Regency. This activity also serves as an opportunity to strengthen relationships between employees, creating a harmonious, solid, and mutually supportive work environment in carrying out tasks and providing statistical services to the public.
