Abstract

Based on the results of monitoring of rural prices in several regions in Aceh Province in March 2021, the resulting NTP was 99.47 or an increase of 0.72 percent. This is because there has been a fairly large increase in the NTP of the smallholder plantation sub-sector.

The Price Index Received by Farmers (It) in March 2021 has increased by 0.39 percent compared to the previous period. This is due to the increase in It in the smallholder plantation sub-sector with a large enough value.

During March 2021, the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) in Aceh Province decreased by 0.32 percent compared to the previous period. The decrease in Ib occurred in all subsectors. The KRT index in Aceh Province decreased by 0.47 percent compared to the previous period, while the BPPBM index increased by 0.20 percent.

Based on monitoring of household needs prices in several rural areas in Aceh Province during March 2021, there was a deflation in rural areas of 0.47 percent. This deflation was caused by a decline in prices for the food, beverage and tobacco category by 0.75 percent with low commodity prices for vegetables (chilies, spinach and jengkol), fish (tuna, selar, and milkfish), eggs, and sugar.

During March 2021, the price of GKP quality unhulled rice at the farm level has decreased by 2.97 percent or the value of Rp. 138 to 4,513 rupiah per kilogram. The decline in the price of GKP quality unhulled rice was due to the fact that several districts had started harvesting time. Even Pidie District, Aceh Barat Daya and parts of North Aceh have entered the harvest season. Likewise, at the level of milling, the price of GKP unhulled rice fell by 2.97 percent or Rp. 140 to 4,576 rupiah per kilogram.
