Sakernas enumeration February 2024 in Aceh Jaya Regency

The National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) is a survey conducted by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) specifically designed to collect employment data. Sakernas is held semi-annually, namely Semester I in February and Semester II in August. To date, Sakernas has experienced various changes in terms of implementation time, estimation level, scope and methodology.

In general, the aim of data collection through Sakernas is to provide sustainable basic employment data. In particular, to obtain data estimates on the number of employed people, the number of unemployed, and other employment indicators and their development at the national, provincial and district/city levels.

The February 2024 Sakernas data collection was carried out using the CAPI (Computer Assisted Personal Interview) method so that the data collection and processing processes could be carried out simultaneously. The household enumeration was carried out in the period 15 February to 7 March 2024 using the interview method using the FASIH application
