Enumeration of Wholesale Price Survey (SHPB)

The Wholesale Price Survey (SHPB) is one of the routine surveys carried out by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The aim of this survey is to obtain reliable and timely wholesale price statistics data so that we can see price developments over time.

The total number of IHPB samples for Aceh Jaya Regency was 7 samples, spread across several sub-districts, namely Krueng Sabee, Setia Bakti, Darul Hikmah and Sampoiniet sub-districts. Meanwhile, the number of officers who collected data was 2 officers (Statistical Partners).

SHPB data collection was carried out by going directly to the field to meet respondents to conduct interviews. The price data covered in the Wholesale Price Survey (SHPB) are prices at the wholesale level in the trade sector. The IHPB enumeration is carried out routinely every month.

The use of wholesale price statistics as an outcome is, among other things, marked by the use of the Wholesale Price Index (IHPB) by the Deputy for Balance Sheets & Statistical Analysis of BPS, the Financial Audit Agency (BPK), the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), the Business Competition Supervisory Commission (KPPU). ), State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) such as the State Electricity Company (PLN), entrepreneurs as a reference for their operational activities, and contractor companies as a basis for escalating construction projects.
